What if Jonathan Taylor Thomas stayed on "Home Improvement" during its 8th and final season, was still a series regular? I don't think much would change in the way of the show. I think the 8th season would still be the final season.
I know for sure the series finale would be different if JTT was there. When Jill (Patricia Richardson) tells everybody that she got a job in Indiana, they groan and don't want to go. I'll bet Randy (JTT) would probably be the same way. But eventually, they'd all come around and give her their support.
