America's Secret War Plan to Invade Canada

For the US to invade Canada in the 30s FDR would have to loose the election. Also I don't see Hoover doing it. If a right wing person became President an invasion would be more likely. Also it was several years before Hitler's plans for racial purity and conquest were implemented. So The US and Germany may find some common ground especially now that both countries would be at odds with the UK. The threat of a two front war may cause Chamberlain to vacillate even more. The UK may not honor its agreement with Poland and without the UK France may back out also. The result could be WW2 does not happen unless Germany initiates an attack on western Europe. But if the UK and France leave Germany alone the Hitler would likely head east and attack the Soviet Union earlier possibly with US economic aide and diplomatic pressure on the UK to stay out of it. Also the right wing US Government may not care about Japanese aggression in China as long as US economic interests in the area were not disturbed. If there is no economic embargo of Japan then there would be no Pearl Harbor attack. WW2 could end up being a German conquest of the Soviet Union and a limited war in China with the Japanese able to hold the cities and the Chinese holding the rest. If Hitler is satisfied with an eastern conquest. Western Europe would become a fortified camp but be spared the horrors of total war.
