May 1939 planned Royal Navy Fleet distribution for 1942

In May 1939 the Admiralty produced an interesting table showing planned aircraft carrier distribution (and cruiser / battleship numbers) in 1942 in three scenarios:
- Peace
- 'Axis' war
- Far Eastern war
(Numbers in brackets are aircraft complements).
Peace Map:
'Axis' war map:
An 'axis' war. Heavy concentrations at Home and at Alexandria, with the North Atlantic 'enclosed' by carrier groups for protection of trade.
Far Eastern war map:
The Far Eastern scenario, with a large proportion of the fleet concentrated in Singapore (including 12 battleships and 5 aircraft carriers).
