On 27 March 1482, Mary of Burgundy died from sustained wounds after falling from her horse during a falcon hunt organised by her cousin Philippe of Cleves. She was 25 years old (and pregnant, according to some sources). After her death, she was succeeded by her four-year-old son, Philip the Fair. Maximilian later remarried, but never forgot her.
Now let's suppose Mary either doesn't go on that hunt (avoiding the fall), or if she does go, her horse doesn't freak out and throw her off. What happens to Burgundy (and Austria) afterwards?
