Yes, this is originally a Spanish YA book. It has a German translation ("Ich bin kein Buch") - don't know about an English one. But since we have several members from the Philippines here, maybe this is something for you.
About the content: A bunch of Spanish teens wants to travel by train through several European countries, but then... something happens, and they end up in an odd parallel Earth, about we learn a few things: Aztecs and Arabs had colonies in Europe; almost nobody speaks Castillian Spanish anymore; America's called Wesland (or so), the Eiffel Tower is standing in Vienna, and one of their OTL teachers is a high religious leader, maybe even a kind of pope.
{Spoiler} So why the title, meaning "I am not a book"? This not-book features in the story; it's really a kind of alien which can communicate with the teens by changing the text on its pages.
Quite weird - but I liked it.
