France Fights On indeed, thanks for mentioning. Now in TTL, her fate isn't that different from OTL (that of France is, however). I'm wondering though what'll happen in a TL where she doesn't die and can keep on putting a bad influence on Reynaud.
Make here a German spy and we got a new TL. The crazy thing is, she did all of that in OTL without the Nazis having to pay her money or so.

‘Vietnam Becomes Another DPRK’. American stalemate in the Vietnam War? This might require an American ground invasion of North Vietnam, or the expansion of American military operations in Cambodia, with the consent of the Cambodian government (Lon Nol's government, I would suspect). Although a full scale American ground invasion of North Vietnam might also end in a disaster for the American forces, but I'm not sure if the Chinese would be willing to repeat the same stunt they did when they bailed the North Koreans during the Korean War. A surviving North Vietnam would become as insane as North Korea, but a divided Vietnam that survives to this day may also mean no Khmer Rouge.

Inspired by William Shirer's diary:
On May 29th in 1937, during the Spanish Civil War, the pocket battleship "Deutschland" was bombed by the republican side while being near Ibiza. The "führer" was enraged and close to declaring war on Spain.
WI he did?

PC: Political or Military Career of a surviving Manfred von Richthofen
I actually did a timeline about this guy emerging as the new leader of Germany, though I'm not sure how and if it's plausible for the Red Baron himself to have entered politics, or remained a military officer. What political and military trajectory would a surviving Red Baron have, should he survive WWI? For additional info, let's say we could kill off both Hitler and Goering in this case.

‘Wilhelm II Killed In German Revolution’.
Probably minimal impact as he was already on the way out, although it might depend on the exact circumstances. For instance if he refuses to accept the armistice say and is killed in fighting after trying to organise a military coup against the new government then while some fanatics would probably think of him as a martyr most would consider him a fool. If he's captured by some left wing group and then simply murdered there's going to be a lot more outrage both in Germany and around the world and more likely to prompt support for a revival of the dynasty at some stage.

‘Wilhelm II Killed In German Revolution’. How exactly? And who will kill him? German leftists, the enemy, some strayshot? Hell, in OTL there even was the suggestion he should try to die valiantly in battle.

Now this is an interesting tidbit usable for many a WW2 AH: Hélène de PortesIn short: Mistress of Reynaud since 1930; hell of a defeatist and anti-British; "according to his bodyguard Walter Thompson, actually lunged at Churchill's throat with a knife she had concealed within her Christian Dior dress" (on the conference on June 12th). Died in a car accident on June 28th when she and Reynaud tried to escape to North Africa. Really have to think what I'm going to do with them in "How many Sixes..." Her death might be easily butterflied away. If she survives, she'll rather help the Nazis than suddenly see the wrong of her ways. After thinking about it: I'll let Reynaud and her escape to North Africa and to the US (as they had planned) after. Not because of sympathies, but because it's the most probable thing to happen. They have money and influence, so their chances would be higher than those of some poor refugees. They might try to become the core of a "third camp" of French in exile who want to join neither the Free French nor Vichy.
Of course, that'll lead to the question what'll happen to them after that. Will she meet Josephine Baker of the resistance, who was able to travel abroad after all? Will there even be a fight between them? - Although Hélène de Portes isn't worth that, methinks.

When king Carol II of Romania left the country in his train, the fascist Iron Guard tried to kill him. When was that. He stepped back on September 6th in 1940. Not sure about the exact date - WP only says "He was allowed to leave the country with a special train loaded with fortunes, an assassination attempt was made by the Iron Guard, who fired on the train."
