Introduction
On 1600s the Ilocanos, Kapampangans, and Pangasinenses would adopt Chinese influences and would be partially sinified as a result, while the Gaddangic like the Gaddangs, Irrayas, Yogads, and Irita would increase in population in Cagayan Valley in the 1600s and would continue to resist the Spanish attempts to convert them and remain as Muslims and raided the Christian areas at times.
On AD 2000 the effects of the invasion of Koxinga and the Malong-Almazan-Maniago revolt would be felt in the Island of Luzon/Selurong/Nueva Castilla would be felt as there are tribes which are heavily influenced by the Chinese which would contrast the tribes that are Malay and Australoid in Luzon with a Caucasoid/Australoid Phenotype that are mixed with Arabs, Indians or Spanish.
The Muslim polities of Taal and Cagayan would exist in the Island of Luzon which is also shared with the Philippines and the Sultanates of Sulu and Maguindanao in the Island of Mindanao, the revolts of Maniago-Almazan-Malong, Koxinga’s invasion, and the revolt of Andres Novales would have shaped the Philippines and the Sultanates that exist in the Archipelago of the Philippines.

The Famine that never happened. On 1600s the Gaddangic tribes are strong, prolific, and resistant to Spanish proselytization and they have seen the Spanish trying to conquer their lands and convert them to Christianity and days later they were hostile to the Christian tribes like the Ibanags and Malauegs who converted to Christianity and frequently raided them, they would retain the faith they had prior to 1570s which is Islam and Paganism that the Spanish attempts to proselytize to them would fail and the Spanish would give up proselytizing to them and the Spanish would call the tribes who refused to convert and remain in their old religion as Moro Cagayanes and the Moro Cagayanes would later expand to the areas behind the Sierra Madre behind the Pampanga River basin[1].[2]
The Tribes from Eastern Batangas in the Taal lake and the people of Tayabas would not convert to Christianity after encountering the Spanish trying to convert them and conquer their lands and remain as Muslims and Animist and would remain a nuisance to the Spanish which would cause the Spanish to just control the Western Coastal areas of Southern Luzon which would be the part of the province of Balayan which is under the Spanish control.
The Moro Cagayanes and the Balayan Moros would use Jawi as their own writing system.
1. OTL Aurora Province.
2. The series of Famines that destroyed the Gaddangic speakers in Cagayan Valley in the 17th-18th century does not happen and they would raid the Christians in Cagayan Valley like the Ibanags and Malauegs who are under Spanish protection.

Koxinga On 1663, Koxinga would attack Manila which would further complicate the situation of the Spanish who are already dealing with the revolt of Malong, Maniago, and Almazan, the Balayan Moros and the Moro Cagayanes and the Balayan Moros which are hostile to the Spanish and the Spanish have been dealing with the Moro Mindanao tribes in the South which threaten Zamboanga and the Muslims in Ternate.
The Spanish would retreat from Mindanao and Ternate islands to Luzon carrying the Merdicas tribes to Ternate Cavite and the Spanish would encounter Koxinga who would raid and conquer Manila with the help of the Chinese and the Kingdom of Tungning would transfer to Northwestern Luzon which is under the revolt of Maniago, Almazan, and Malong after the Spanish had defeated Koxinga further eliminating the revolt of Maniago, Almazan, and Malong and cut off the Christians in Cagayan from Spanish protection against the Moro Cagayanes which would make them a minority in their lands and many of them would revert to Islam until it is only a few of the Malauegs who have remained Christian, during this time, the Sultanate of Cagayan and Sultanate of Taal would be in the records of the Spanish in the Philippines as the Moro Cagayanes would have started to further organize themselves and invited Gujarratis and Arabs to migrate to them again which had migrated to the island prior to the Spanish and the lands of the Moro Cagayanes and the Balayan Moros in would have attracted Cham immigrants from the other side of South China Sea, due to the Tungning transferring to Northwestern Luzon from Taiwan, the Pangasinenses, Kapampangans, and Ilocanos would later be heavily sinicized but prior to that they had already been friendly to the Chinese which would ease the transition of control of the part of the Island to the new Chinese ruling class.
The retreat of the Spanish from Mindanao, Sulawesi, and the Spice Islands would be seen as a victory for rulers like Sultan Kudarat of Mindanao.
Both the Moro Cagayanes, Balayan Moros, and Moros of Mindanao would have a presence in Borneo as they would have traded with the Borneans in the South.

Spanish Humiliation The Spanish would scratch their heads at what has happened in their colony, the Philippines, the Spanish has almost lost the North and lost the islands of Mindanao and the Spice Islands and the Spanish were humiliated by the Infidels in the north and the south, the loss of the rebels in favor of Koxinga and the North of the Island being divided between Tungning and the Moro Cagayanes was a breath of fresh air to the Spanish and the Spanish would have been dealing with issues in their dynasty due to the death of Baltasar Carlos and the marriage of Maria Teresa to the French and the issue of her dowry which would mean that the French might get the Spanish throne.
The Spanish would still have riches and the ability to reconquer the land that they have lost, however the Spanish would not waste it on the lands that are difficult to hold.
The Spanish would bounce again and would decide to further strengthen their hold in the Southern area of Luzon and strengthen their defences there and introduce more military men in Nueva Castilla in order for the Spanish to recover to their own humiliation against their enemies in the Philippines although the Spanish would not be able to get to control of the lands of the Cagayan Sultanate, and the lands of the Balayan Moros.

The destruction of Tungning As the Tungning had already vacated Formosa, Formosa would completely empty and no colonizers would be interested in it again.
On 1681, the Spanish would start the conquests of the lands of Tungning and allied with the Qing to destroy the enemies of the Qing and the Spanish would encounter Zheng Keshuang and Zheng Jing in the North of Nueva Castilla in order to end their occupation of the area, the Sultanate of Cagayan and Tungning would have the Kankanaey, Bontoc, Ifugaos, Isneg, Tingguians, and other head hunters in the Cordillera mountain range as their own buffers in the mountains and have a border on the Northern coasts and in in Tarlac.
The Spanish knowing that there is nothing essential to the Spanish in the lands of the Sultanate of Cagayan and the Sultanate of Taal and the missions failing back then would mean that the Spanish would not touch it during the time of the Spanish colonization of the Archipelago after they have conquered Tungning.
On 1690, the Spanish would have completed the conquest of Tungning and Zheng Keshuang and his army were expelled to Qing China, the settlers that Tungning left behind would leave a mark on the Ilocanos, Pangasinenses, and Kapampangans and they would have cultural similarities with the Chinese and the area would continuously attract Chinese settlements.
The Spanish would later reconquer Mindanao and later Maluku and Northern Sulawesi from the Dutch after the reconquest of Tungning was completed.

Appendix I Moro Cagayanes
Muslims of Cagayan Valley which would later form the Sultanate of Cagayan, they would spread to OTL Nueva Ecija and Aurora, they are the subjects of the Sultanate of Cagayan, they would transform into a Republican Government after the lineage of the Sultan got extinct in the 19th century, the Royals of Cagayan claim that they are descended from the Majapahit ruler Raden Wijaya from his son, Balagtas as they have sneaked in before the Moro Cagayanes have organized themselves, the Spanish attempted to proselytize with them but they would fail to promote their own religion with them with a devastating outcome to the Spanish and the Ibanags and Malauegs would revert to Islam leaving a handful Malauegs remaining Christians.
Balayan Moro
The Moros of the Province of Balayan, subjects to the Sultanate of Taal, the Spanish attempted to proselytize with them but they would fail to promote their own religion with them and they would have fought with their blood kin in Manila who became under the Spanish.
Nueva Castilla
Spanish name of Luzon, which would be used to differentiate the Sultanate of Cagayan, this would become smaller after the Koxinga invasion and it would wane and enlarge in size as the Muslims, Chinese and the Christians would fight for territory in the Island of Luzon, it would annex the Kingdom of Tungning in Luzon after it transferred in Luzon would fight for territory in the Island of Saludong.
Saludong Jawi

The end of the war of Spanish succession
On 1715, Philip V of Spain would secure the Spanish throne without ever giving up his own claims to Spain in the treaty of Utrecht and also the French would have acquired the Spanish Netherlands which the French would integrate as their own territory, he would be with his queen, Marie Louise Stuart who is related to the Stuart claimant and would be able to pop out heirs, he would decide on marrying her instead of the rich heiress Elizabeth Farnese who would marry Francesco III who is younger than her which would help in their future successes in Italy.
Philip V of Spain would create centralizing policies like the Nueva Planta decrees that put to an end to the existence of the separate Kingdom of Aragon, establishing Spain as a centralized monarchy.
Philip V would benefit on the fact that the Spanish would have reconquered the spice producing islands in Southeast Asia which would benefit his own empire and their trade with east and the west and this would mean that the Spanish would be richer for longer despite the Bourbons being said to be less productive as kings as the Habsburgs of Spain.

Conversion of the Isnegs and Expansion in the South under the Bourbons After the Conquest of Tungning in the 1690s, the Tingguians and Isnegs who are already threatened by the Muslims East of their borders would convert to Christianity which would make them follow the Christian tribes that converted to Christianity in the West and the South, they know that the Christian Spanish would protect them against the Sultanate of Cagayan in the East who will raid them and try to assimilate them in the East and this would create further protection for the Tingguians and Isnegs who are threatened by the Sultanate East of them, the conversion of the Tingguians and the Isnegs would complete by the end of the Philip V Era, Philip V would know about the conversion of the Tingguian and the Isneg tribes and he would have thought that it would have weakened the Sultanate of Cagayan which he thinks he would give the Spanish an advantage against the raids from that state by the Muslims, however this was already proven to be false as the Sultanate of Cagayan would raid and annex the town of Tauit in 1700 which have a mixed Moro Cagayanes and Isneg population which would be resettled by Muslims and the native Isneg population would be forced to migrate upstream of Abulog or in the west as the Sultanate of Cagayan have sensed them allying with the Spanish which would cause the Isnegs and Tingguian to further ally with the Spanish.
The Spanish would reestablish control over the Spice Islands and Mindanao after they were distracted by the Tungning in the North and the part of Mindanao that they reestablished control first is Zamboanga and the Spanish would recapture Ternate on 1701 which would reestablish the control of the Spanish in Ternate.

The Conversion of the Ainus On 1700s the Ainu would continue to have a good population and the Japanese would only control a southern peninsula of Ezo or Hokkaido which is controlled by a Japanese lord, the Ainus would absorb the mixed-japanese and ainu population and treat them as part of the Ainu society and it would be less difficult to be considered to be an Ainu as the mixed population would be considered to be Ainu although they would be bilingual and the open Ainu would be a conduit for trade between the Russians and the Closed Japan in the 18th Century.
The trade between the Ainus and the Russians would intensify that some of the Ainus of Sakhalin, Kurils, Kamchatka, and Hokkaido would start to convert to the Russian Orthodox Church in 1720 which would expand the Russian influence in East Asia.

Baler, the Capital of the Sultanate of Cagayan On 1700s during the Mohammed II Era in the Sultanate of Cagayan, it has been decided that Tubigarao or the Irraya area is no longer sufficient to be the capital of the Sultanate of Cagayan and Faru would be covered by flood during the flooding season, they would decide that a town in the Pacific is the suitable capital as the Pacific ships and traders come to that area, the area of Tubigarao would be considered as an important in the Sultanate of Cagayan but it would be secondary to Baler and would be the cultural capital, however, Baler would be the capital of administration and trade.
They would pick the settlement of Baler which is a booming trade center of the Sultanate of Taal and the Sultanate of Cagayan and this area would also be where the ships from the Pacific would go to the Sultanate of Cagayan by 1720, Baler would be chosen as the capital of the Sultanate of Cagayan which would create an urban conglomeration in the East of the Pacific from Paranan down to Umiray which is in the border with the Spanish Philippines in the South, they would create established roads in Wangag[1] which would connect the area of Baler and the Cagayan Valley aside from the roads that connect Baler with the Cagayan Valley as well in the Mountainous regions[2].

The two later revolts and their interactions with the Sultanates In 1762-1763 and 1823-1825, there would be two revolts, the Diego Silang revolt of 1762 and the Andres Novales revolt of 1823.
On 1762, the Diego Silang revolt would fight the Spanish and support the British in the 7 years war which would help him win against the Spanish while the Andres Novales even if it had a brief success due to it having the country of the Philippines splitting from Spain from 1823-1825 would have a good influence in the formation of the country of the Philippines, the Diego Silang revolt would spark the independentist struggle in 1762, and the Andres Novales revolt would have set the precedent of the country’s independence in 1898.
The Sultanates of Cagayan and Taal would have set good relations with the revolutions of Diego Silang and Novales revolt and the Spanish authorities and played them with each other while the Sultanates of Sulu and Maguindanao would have inconsistent relations with the revolt of Novales and the Spanish which would have enabled the Spanish to settle their territories with with Christians such as the Cebuano and Chavacano speakers while the Sulu and Maguindanao would would not have any relations with the Diego Silang revolt as they are distant to them.
