Defeat of the Chinese Pirate Limahong On 1575, the ruler of Kaboloan would bravely defeat the Pirate Limahong himself, who would return to China himself which would allow Kaboloan or Pangasinan to be an independent Kingdom from the Spanish and remain professing Islam and its other faiths.
Kaboloan would resist the Spanish who were already evangelizing Ilocos, but they would not be alone in resisting the Spanish as another Sultanate would exist and it is the Sultanate of Irraya in the North East of Kaboloan which would be established after this encounter and the capitals of Irraya and Kaboloan would be the two centers of the religion of Islam in Luzon after Manila has been conquered by the Spanish.
Kaboloan would trade on its own and it would continue to flourish as their trade with other countries continued including to the country of Champa which contributed immigrants to Kaboloan which would help inflate its population in the future, due to the gradual shrink of Champa, some of its population would migrate to Kaboloan and Irraya.
The Kingdom of Kaboloan would turn into a Sultanate and would gradually expand to the territories of the Sambals in the South and West of Kaboloan.

Dawn of the Sultanate of Irraya On 1582, the Sultanate of Irraya would expel the Japanese pirates in Faru and took control of the mouth of the Cagayan River and they would have been known to the Spanish in 1600 as the Spanish would have started to notice them, it has been said that Agoo and Faru, in the Estuary of Cagayan was a part of the trading route between the Malay Archipelago, Japan, and Ryukyu, however, the defeat of Majapahit and Tondo in battle against Nakhoda Ragam as well as the marriage of Kalangitan with Lontok of Brunei would have interrupted and weakened the trade.
The Dumagats, Isnegs, and the people of Faru would have joined the Sultanate of Irraya gradually and the territory of the Sultanate of Irraya would have bordered to San Miguel de Mayumo of Pampanga in the South and the Bashi Channel in the North and welcomed Cham refugees from Champa which would have boosted its own population like what its neighbor Kaboloan did, the refugees from the Tondo Conspiracy in 1589 would arrive in the Sultanate of Irraya as well, the Sultanate of Irraya would be known as the Sultanate of Kagayan after it expanded down to the borders of San Miguel de Mayumo and Faru.

Salcedo and Kandarapa On 1577, Salcedo would meet Princess Kandarapa again on his return to Manila, she said that she is not married and there were many betrothals to her including that of the ruler of Kaboloan and Tarik Sulayman of Macabebe.
Kandarapa would say that none of the planned marriages such as with the ruler of Kaboloan and Tarik Sulayman happened and instead, she is free to marry Salcedo and she was happy that she would be her love, Juan de Salcedo.
The marriage between Salcedo and Kandarapa would be remembered, and they would have many descendants in Manila.

The Establishment of Nueva Segovia On 1595, Nueva Segovia would be established in Vigan which was to aid the evangelization in Northern Luzon which had started in the 1570s, Nueva Segovia would be established alongside Cebu and Nueva Caceres and as the Spanish have lost their chance to conquer the two fledgling Sultanates of Irraya and Kaboloan, the Ilocanos would be a religious enclave between the Sultanates of Kagayan and Kaboloan and the Pagan Igorots.
The Ilocanos would also deal with the raids of the Muslims from the Sultanates of Kagayan and Kaboloan and the Pagans in the Mountains near Ilocos as well which would make the Ilocanos very much dependent to the Spanish to maintain their own religion and culture against the two Sultanates and the Pagans in the East as the Northernmost Catholics aside from the Ilocanos would be the Kapampangans whose northern extent borders with that of Kaboloan.

Sebastian I of Portugal On 1578, Sebastian I would survive due to him being captured but he would not marry due to the shame of being captured by the Muslims in Morroco, he was forced to cede Ceuta to the Muslims due to this defeat in the battle, he would make Ranuccio Farnese as his own successor in Portugal, Sebastian of Portugal would be the king of Portugal until his death in 1500 when Ranuccio Farnese was chosen by himself to be the king of Portugal.
Portugal would continue its prestige and expansion after the death of Sebastian I of Portugal due to the succession of Ranuccio Farnese who would make his sister, Margherita as the last wife of Philip II after the death of Anna of Austria for him to support his own succession, Margherita Farnese would provide no children to Philip II but she would be the regent of Spain when he was absent and also was part of the regency of Philip III on the death of Philip II.

End of the Castilian war On 1578, the Spanish would be defeated by the hands of Saiful Rijal and they would be forced to flee back to Manila and Pengiran Seri Lela’s daughter would go to the Spanish Philippines and marry into its nobility, the Bruneians would be forced to stop their prosetylization in the Spanish Philippines although the Kingdom of Caboloan would continue to invite Bruneian Missionaries and the Bruneians would continue the islamization of Lowland Northern Luzon.
The defeat of Limahong in the hands of the ruler of Pangasinan or Caboloan would allow the Kingdom of Caboloan to resist the Spanish which allowed the Bruneian Missionaries which promoted islam to continue going to Northern Luzon after the Bruneians stopped sending missionaries in the lands of the Spanish Philippines in the North which were under the Bruneians for a while which made the two sultanates of Caboloan and Cagayan to exist and resist the Spanish in the South.
