Anybody watched "CSA: The Confederate States of America"?

Would people be banned or kicked if they liked the?

This sentence in the old thread is odd: "Southerners have the right to have private property". Didn't they have the right before?

Also, that "doctor" deciding that slaves running away must be sick: This is from OTL, and was called "drapetomania". The crazy urge to, well, run away.

I would like parts of my Alternative history to resemble this peculiar film. Granted I didn’t get in trouble and it was feasible . At first me and my twin brother thought they commercials were real. Some of the work does seem real except for the blond Adolf h part which is a dead giveaway

Well I did not see a if you post here this will be counted as spam. It is a hilarious film I wonder if the DVD has special features. I am sure there are people out there who think the film would contain some accuracy to how the CSA would be in real life provided they ever became remotely powerful

The film is a mock documentary but I wanted to point out a few features of this film while rock and roll had some of its roots in African American culture much of the South culture is from African Americans or slavery in one form or another. The film seems to argue if the Confederates were to win their revolution it would be over foreign intervention which was never going to happen from the prospect of the film. The film is obviously not made by historians however the film pointed out how other people of color became slaves which happened in American history as Chinese were exploited chinse labors making sugar on plantations A minority of a few slaveholders did want to make poor whites as slaves.

Some fire-eaters wanted to revive the transatlantic slave trade despite it being unfeasible doue to the barriers such as the British navey. However, the illegal slave trade continued till after the American Civil War. So, while not pragmatic, it is possible that fire-eaters could start a government scandal of a limited slave trade in Africa or at least allow the international governments to look the other way over foreign slave trade exports or imports from other slaveholders such as the Caribbean or Brazil. Unless the CSA government was to rewrite there constitution or colonize in Africa, it would have to have an illegal government enterprise for a modest shipment of slaves. While private slavers had existed, they were stopped by the Royal Navy too many times. However, I do wonder for space bat material or not, which African tribes would due business and possibly hold an alliance with a slaveholding white supremacy republic. The CSA and nazie fascism really are not comparable to each other as FDR New deal has more similarities to fascist policies than the American civil war




In a modern conclussion, many northern people associate racism and white supremacy with the South or the confederacy as there are a strange number of neo confederates and neo nazies who have messages of hate to black people and thought the csa was a noble cause White supremacy south and Nazies while the csa never became a fascist nation it did have a non-aggression pack to Hitler and the mock-documentary realism is as much similar to a nazie America especially if they are not associated with german immigrants who whole heartily supported the union and were the isolationist strongholds were in the north.

In WW1, the South profited from America not intervening and the issues south of them seemed more relevant, such as Pancho Villa. However the south changed sentiment when the rest of the nation changed their thought on ww1

Also scientific racism which evolution held a significant role does seem to be taught or believed,to promote slavery, which is ironic as its the bible belt in the the late 2oth century. This wasn't shy to the reality of colonialism, particularly in the scramble for Africa.
