1993 is just before the 1st Chechen War, the Chechens no longer have to worry about Russia attacking them. Chechnya also avoids the destruction caused by the war. Does technological civilization survive/thrive or collapse? Do we see Chechen language spoken from Atlantic to the Pacific? IMO that may as well be the case. The 1 milion Chechens have enough knowledge and skills to transform the world. What are your thoughts? About the Chechen army en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armed_Forces_of_the_Chechen_Republic_of_Ichkeria

The Industrial Revolution does start in 1000 BC resulting in technology progressing in bounds and leaps. Since wars are reduce to nearly zero the developments are mostly civilian-sector focused than military WITH THE EXCEPTION of nukes
Iron Age nations such as Egypt and Zhou China do expend all of their resources to upgrade their technology
Islam does become the dominant religion but it fractures even more. Better education, economics and health standards do lead to Irreligion and Progressive-mindsets so Modern Atheism also begins in 1000 BC (There are Atheists in Modern Chechnya)
Native Americans don't die from European diseases. Their population explodes and interbreeds with non-Natives
Chechnya does influence the Iron Age world but will lose its near-absolute dominance with time. Though Chechnyan-hybirds would be the dominant human population on Earth and when they colonize space
The Dodo doesn't die off. Ethanol is used much more as fuel since a Muslim-dominant world uses a lot less alcohol. Even when Irreligion takes over that aversion to drinking boozes is strong
