Not gonna lie I don't know much about Bulgaria except that they fought with Germany in both World Wars
So in January 1915, Bulgaria is ISOT to 685. WW1 Bulgaria is smaller and has different territories than its 685 counterpart. Imagine the 20th century Bulgarians meeting their Dark Age ancestors.
Their interaction with the Arabs and later the Franks would be interesting
Not sure how long Bulgaria can maintain its technological superiority as it is surrounded by many neighbors. Even far away lands such as Tang China would soon start advancing their tech.
