Right after the Dissolution of Vichy France, to distance themselves from Vichy France the 4th republic rather than just continuing from the 3rd, reforms to become what we call in OTL the 5th republic. And to further distance themselves from Vichy France, one of the first things they do is give Algerians equal rights to the French

That's difficult one
One reason they abandon the 3th Republic after WW2 were massive problem with it! Scandals, mismanagement, political intrigue, alone between 1918 and 1940 the French had 27 governments, more that Unstable Weimar Republic ! it even almost ended a Civil war had WW 2 not happen
After ww2 made the new Parliament a Referendum following that, they made so many changes to constitution that became complete new one ! like right for woman to vote unthinkable under 3th republic
But even 4th Republic constitution was not perfect, again unstable governments special at it end during Algier Crisis The 5th Republic constitution and its presidential system gave France finally the Political Stability it needed.
One solution to issue would be reforms between 1918 to 1938 to stabilise french politic under 3th republic
