This is one of the works - together with "Fatherland" and a non-fiction book by Ralph Giordano - that lead me into AH.
In fact, I made a TV Tropes page for it. And felt inspired by it to research an idea they suggested: How would a world without Genghis Khan look like, centuries afterwards? And thus, my Chaos timeline was born...
In the past, I also ran GURPS campaigns (OK, one-day stuff) on RPG cons set in it.
Anyone else knows/likes this?

I've heard of it and read some stuff on it back in my RPG days, which I miss, but never dove fully down the rabbit hole. I was always more into the works and worlds of the British Steve Jackson.

Oh, I like that fellow too.
The GURPS guys usually make good sourcebooks, the research is well done, and each of these books gives you six nice TLs.
If you are into a very strict approach to AH and think it's unrealistic if famous people from OTL are still born under the same name and do similar things too, you may consider it "beginner's stuff". But even then, it's good beginner's stuff.

The reason I prefer Alternate Earths to Infinite Worlds: AE had "only" few worlds, but each of them is described on 15-20 pages in loving details. Their rough history from PoD to (local) present, then descriptions of the most important (or interesting) countries, many of the famous GURPS sidebars for other tidbits, status of the society, technology levels, how to run an RPG campaign in these ATLs and which characters to use in it, and much more. About like in this world description (yes, it's also by me). Compared to that, IW "described" many TLs - but for each of them, you got at best as much as on this page.

Thanks for the links, it brought me to the world map of Reich-5. The World map reminds me a bit of the Lightning in the Night timeline i made.

Could you give me a link? The forum search isn't helping much.

OK, I now looked into it. Nazi Germany forcing Britain to surrender because the German subs sink the ships which bring food to Britain I could swallow (in general - Churchill was afraid of this possibility after all - although it seems to happen too fast), Stalin not attacking when he should be concerned is at least possible (1941 he wasn't really ready), but Germany taking over Italy just like that? And why should Italy decide to jump ship in the moment when Britain is actually defeated?
There are also minor quibbles, like little Ecuador invading big Peru, but that's nothing compared to the big one.
And Japan taking ALL of China AND half of India?

That was in the book, wich it seems was written to show the American public what could happen if the United States did not join the war.

Well, it's hard to get a "Nazis win" TL unless you exaggerate what they're really able to. Or let them have infinite amounts of good luck.
