Recovered Heir
On 1554, John Manuel would survive and be able to raise his own son Sebastian I of Portugal and both his wife Joanna of Spain would have two further children, namely, Manuel(June 4, 1555) and Isabella(December 2, 1560) which would have secured the succession of Portugal itself and succeed his father as John IV of Portugal.
John Manuel would continue to defend the interests of the Kingdom of Portugal as long as he is alive and kept his hispanophile mother out of the rule of Portugal and made his wife focus on raising his children so that they would be good for Portugal, he would help the ruler of Brunei drive out the Spanish in the Archipelago of San Lazaro.
Another action that irritated Philip II is that Isabella of Portugal married Henry III of Navarre or rather the future King of France, Henry IV in 1570.

Zaragosa and Tordesillas upheld John Manuel would acknowledge the Pero Fidalgo expedition in Luzon and other Portuguese expedition in the Archipelago of San Lazaro and Portugal would continue to object on the Spanish plans to colonize the Archipelago of San Lazaro which is under varying degrees of Bruneian influence as it would be against the Treaty of Zaragosa and Treaty of Tordesillas, the Portuguese would establish trading Presence in the Bruneian Empire and the states in the San Lazaro Archipelago and also establish trading ports and concessions with them which would cause the Spanish interest in the area to fizzle out and Butuan and Sugbu which went under Spanish suzerainty would lapse out from its grasp.
Luzon and Mindanao would go in a long time under Bruneian influence until the Sultanates of Selurong/Sanfotsi and Mindanao/Maguindanao established their independence from the Bruneians, however the Sultanate of Selurong would only have a half of Selurong.
