What if the house of Saud was extinguished during the Wahabi war?

Now this is an interesting and succinct WI, as it is one I've touched upon before.
It would not have any effect until the 1920s after the independence of the Hashemite Arab kingdoms. It depends if any other similar clan/tribe rose to fill the vacuum created by the removal of the Sauds. If not, then there is an expansion of the Hashemite Kingdom of Arabia gradually over a similar time period. They would have broadly similar policies in most respects, save those of Wahabbism.
Exeunt the Sauds, then possibly exeunt Wahabbism. If that happened, then it would certainly change the course of the latter half of the 20th century.

simon darkshade , Is a faction that's likely going to be more secular and favor of pan-arabism in reaction to the cration of israel & sykes-picot's gerrymandering of arab lands likely to t rose to fill the vacuum created by the removal of the Sauds?
