Because the game can spent much more time to develop the story and characters then the Movie could? Including Lara who looks better than in the reboot movie. She was pretty banged up by the end of the first game (though that game seemed to enjoy having her fall off Things). |

Both The Netherlands and Belgium have declared lootboxes to be gambling and giving Publishers eight weeks to remove those features. If they dont they risk fines of up to 800.000 Euros and five years in prison. Might we be seeing the end of an era when it comes to lootboxes and mobile games? |

If they dont they risk fines of up to 800.000 Euros and five years in prison. Might we be seeing the end of an era when it comes to lootboxes and mobile games? Maybe in the Netherlands and Belgium, the publishers and developers could be forced only to remove lootboxes in those two countries like they most of the time have to remove blood in games released in Germany. |

In fact, expect similar Laws to show up in other European countries and even in some US states in the next years. Just because they were first does not mean they were isolated events. Maybe in the Netherlands and Belgium, the publishers and developers could be forced only to remove lootboxes in those two countries like they most of the time have to remove blood in games released in Germany. It is very possible that they either do that or remove the games themselves but as Laws like this spread to other countries it might be considered to much of a bother to include lootboxes at all. |
