No. Gradually reducing the playing time down to only 23 hours a day. And what do you do with that 1 hour that is remaining. Think about the tactics and strategy to use when I resume playing.

Fairly long on blurb but to me rather lacking in content. Presumably one of the periods of division in Chinese history but not clear which or where the aim is to 'win' by reuniting a fractured empire - which would be the normal TW victory condition, or keep it divided in some way? Also make it look rather like a single player hero 'shoot them up' for the pre-gunpowder age, which is totally different from most TW games I've seen and played.

My knowledge of China is Limited to Koihime Musou (which is not an acurate retelling by any stretch) but CA had this summary that should Clear some Things up: TOTAL WAR: THREE KINGDOMS - The Next Major Historical Total War - Cinematic Trailer! The year is 190CE. China is in turmoil. The Han Dynasty crumbles before the child-emperor. He is but a figurehead; a mere puppet for the tyrant warlord Dong Zhuo. It is a brutal and oppressive regime, and as Dong Zhuo’s power grows, the empire slips further into the cauldron of anarchy. But hope yet blossoms. Three heroes, sworn to brotherhood in the face of tyranny, rally support for the trials ahead. Scenting opportunity, warlords from China’s great families follow suit, forming a fragile coalition in a bid to challenge Dong Zhuo’s remorseless rule. Will they triumph against the tyrant, or will personal ambition shatter their already crumbling alliance and drive them to supremacy? The crucible fizzes. Allegiances shift. The fires of conflict stoke opportunity. Only one thing is certain: the very future of China will be shaped by its champions. Total War: Three Kingdoms is the next major historical strategy game in the award-winning Total War series. Out Fall 2018!

That gives some more detail and sounds a lot more like the TW I've seen before. Being a Middle Earth fan I've recently discovered the Third Age mod and currently playing an advanced version of this called Divide and Conquer. Desperately seeking to rebuild the northern Dunedain with some success but coming across plenty ogf problems. Actually discovered the ring so will be trying both hiding it again and also booking a trip to Mt Doom, although how you do that with a general who has a sizeable bodyguard attached I don't know. By the end of this month I should have a lot of free time to get down to playing.
