Well, maybe not then. But if he runs repeatedly and wins a ton of times, maybe the public and Congress will step in and decide that maybe Washington's had enough fun in the sun and impose term limits early. Assuming they circumvent his potential refusal to sign their bill on the matter, at least. Even so, however, maybe he'll still decline to serve a bunch of terms due to his aversion to centralized power. Would Washington even be to run for president more then twice? From what I have read about that Washington it seems like he wasn't that interested in running the country. Yeah, that's what I thought, too. As such, I'm banking on that being a key reason why even if he were restored to thirty-five years old and stopped aging from there, Washington could still decline to run again. Subsequent candidates, however, might be more easily tempted by power than him. That said, maybe Congress will limit the number of terms a President can serve early on since eternal youth has, you know, suddenly become part of the equation.

Sorry I just had the thought of Congress modifying the rules so that Presidents could only have a single term, say of only 3 months, so that as many politicians as possible could become President. Given the substantial bonus the post now has in terms of eternal youth! Mind you that might prompt a popular rebellion and many of those 'Presidents' having their extended lives cut short by a noose say.
At the very least the post is going to be a lot more attractive to people with a very strong incentive to win.

I fear that change in management every few months would be too unstable and abrupt. Plus, I don't know whether people could stand electing a new president that frequently; having some time to assess their record and candidate over a longer campaign might help them make their decision as well.

Those would be the big problems with the idea. Of course if there are enough powerful men wanting immortality elections might be questioned as the best way to achieve the Presidency. Although a lot more people would oppose such a move.
The other old issue with immortality is how capable would such people be to adjusting to new ideas and circumstances? Washington and some of the other founding fathers who become President are going to be around for a long while here - baring violent death - and going to have a lot of influence. Will they be able to adjust to ideas like racial and sexual equality, new technologies and how they affect both the internal and external affairs.

'Presidential Nominees Wrestle To Decide Who Wins'.
...Yep, definitely a frivolous ASB scenario.

To make it fair (or rather, fairer), sure. But what if the two nominees are opposite genders/sexes, as was the case with Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton at the end of the 2016 election?

Then we need something else for the finale, like the American Ninja Warrior course, the winner becomes the president.

Actually, I wonder if we could replace the wrestling match with your suggestion. However, given how stamina and vigor-intensive American Ninja Warriors looks, the candidates' ages would definitely pose an issue at least at first.

'Modern K-Pop Content To Korean War'. I wonder what the troops fighting on both sides of the peninsula would make of it.

'Every Adult Forgets How To Read/Write'. But adults still know everything, and they can learn again, it is going to be hard but not impossible.

True, but adults have only lost the ability to read and write, the rest of them is still in order i guess. Maybe they can still drive and all, but reading and writing are key skills for doing the jobs that keep modern civilization running. Accountants need to prepare financial reports that have lots and lots of words in them, scientists have to write research papers with all sorts of technical jargon in them, policymakers constantly author as well as peruse through long-winded bills, you get the idea. So even if adults can be retaught how to read and write properly, the initial stages of this scenario likely won’t be pleasant to go through since people’s ability to do the aforementioned jobs would be compromised for quite some time.
