'All People Voluntarily Stop Drinking Alcohol'. This would suck for that specific industry and tangentially related economic activities, but maybe wind up strongly beneficial for society in the long run. I think i would by shares in Cola, as they are going to sell a lot more than they do now.

Well, a refreshing taste coupled with a sugar high is better than nothing.

'Inanimate Objects Come To Life'. I wonder how many would be feral, and how many might develop sentience.

Ever seen the movie Maximum Overdrive, well there is a cameo of Stephen king who direchted the movie, you can see the ATM after coming to life not being so nice to him.

'Entire US Government Becomes Democrats/Republicans', which would be a two-round scenario that ends up alienating a sizable share of America's voting public in either case.

'What Would Aliens Think Of Human Civilization?'
Given how many different species and societies could exist out there in the vastness of space, chances are they'd have an unimaginably broad range of reactions and courses of action they deem appropriate to respond with. A tribe of hunter-gatherers and an Orion's Arm-esque civilization would have completely different opinions about us humans, just as an example.

This scenario's about aliens across the board (or rather, the whole cosmos), not a specific species like the Lurmens or Independence Day-style invaders.

'WW2 America Gets Modern Nuclear Arsenal'. Assuming for scenario's sake that the means of maintaining and delivering these weapons are also sent back, ASB hands the Allies their coming victory on a silver platter.

Do not think its needed , why not give it 1950 nuclear arsenal, its much closer than what they can understand in how to operate.

What date is it arriving at? I mean the US was at war from 7-12-41 to officially 2-9-45 so its a bit different in terms of what happens depending on when. The Axis powers are going to get smashed if FDR is willing to use the new weapons - albeit at 1-1-50 I don't think they have a massive stockpile. However with the capacity to maintain and build new ones and to deliver them that probably means whatever bombers they had in 1950 so that in itself would be a serious jump in bombing capacity without nukes. Add those in as well and the game is up pretty damned quickly. However when this occurs makes a big different in what the post-war world is likely to look like.

What if the time traveler uses the time machine, and travel back through time and destroy a prototype toy that launched a girl's toy line and return to his time?
