What if everybody who drives right in a county sill start to drive left and vica versa. Law enforcement would likely be unsure how to react initially. They can stop a few people at a time from driving on the wrong side of the road, but preventing everyone from doing at once it is another matter entirely. |

Its going to cause a lot of accidents simply because people won't be used to it. Thinking of also that many cars and traffic systems that will be set up wrong. Also how quickly would pedestrians be aware of the change as well as that's going to cause a hell of a lot of problems and chaos.

You mean the same thing a certain president is trying to do. ...I’d ask for further elaboration on what you mean by that, but it’d be best to do that in a different thread if at all. Even if he wanted them loosened, I doubt that the Donald is so crazed that he’d want literally every single law legislating weaponry and wargear—up to and including WMDs—poofed out of existence. |

What if everybody spoke the oldest version of their languages. Then, me being a native speaker, I'd miss out on all the lexicon-enriching words added to English by the Vikings, Romans, etcetera  . Even common ones like skirt or egg would have different terms to denote them.
Also, what happens to those words that the oldest iteration of present-day languages had no equivalents for, i.e. computer or engine? Would they be an exception and wind up incorporated into the newly revived elder tongues, or would wholly new words for them have to be devised?

I do not know, but it will be chaos before we can adept to this new reality. For starters, reading what has already been written down in modern languages won't be possible at first. Also, '1950s Joe McCarthy ISOT to the 1980s'. |
