'Adolf Hitler SI To Augusto Pinochet'. The alt-right and the Neo-Nazis would celebrate at this.

Considering that you’ve made the Chilean dictatorship even more rabid and murderous, making Neo-Nazis celebrate is a given. Not sure about the Alt-Right since it only came into existence within the last few years, however. Since you suggest that this soon becomes public knowledge, though, I’m guessing the US would have Pinochet “conveniently removed” and “replaced” with another generic right-wing, but non-fascistic dictator. Judging by what a madman he was in real life, I highly doubt that sitting Hitler down and giving him a “stern talking-to” will make him reconsider what he’s planning to do next, if you know what I’m hinting at.

Would agree that even Bush junior or Trump would be unhappy with Hitler in charge, let alone say Reagan, Bush senior or Clinton - assuming that the replacement occurs shortly after Pinochet stages his military coup. Fear that they would simply replace him with another bloody dictator however.

Well, having thought about it a bit more since then, I imagine that “Pinochet’s” subordinates would raise eyebrows at how he’s rambling about Jewish conspiracies and is incredibly sore about how the United States won the war. Neither of which have anything to do with actual Pinochet’s (still-brutal) agenda, as far as I know. It’s not a good idea to complain about your backer or long-over historical disputes that it won, either, so there’s that. ’Catholic Church Converts To Shrekism Overnight’. What's Shrekism's policy on married priests? Is it only allowed if their wives are female ogres?

What's Shrekism's policy on married priests? Is it only allowed if their wives are female ogres? Sorry, don't know. It probably depends on the denomination, but if I were to take a swing at it, I'd think that priests in the Church of Shrek would have to marry committed "Ogirls" (which is the female term for Shrek's followers, the male one being "Brogres"). I didn't come up with those, just so you know. 'Alexander the Great and Napoleon Bonaparte Become Roommates'.

‘AANW Nazis To 1861 CSA’.
Well, if there’s anyone capable of repulsing even the slavocratic Confederacy, it’s got to be the Nazis. Ditto with their AH counterparts from the Anglo-American Nazi War, who now have a mandate to exterminate their way through European Russia.

Wondering who would kill who as I can't see two such ruthless characters staying together in a room for long.

Seconded. Assuming that ASB forces them to a) be peaceful and b) actually talk with one another (which means providing them fluency in the other's language), my guess is that they'd both pick up on the similarities--as well as various differences--in their stories. Both were populist revolutionaries from privileged backgrounds who overthrew decadent governments, ruthlessly quashed their opposition when establishing new ones, and became emblematic figures to future generations. Conversely, aside from the far different times and places they operated in, I suppose that some other key differences are that Lenin's reign of terror lasted long after his death, while Caesar's dictatorship fell apart right as his body became cold. I also believe that, in keeping with the time he lived in, Caesar's platform was a generic, if brutal "Power to the common man!" appeal that was less hellbent on fundamentally reshaping human nature and how society was run, whereas Lenin being a communist revolutionary means he was all about the latter. Caesar was also a renowned general who already had a place within the Roman government when he was revolting, whereas Lenin was a shouty rabble-rouser who was returned to Russia by train, courtesy of German politicking. The elephant in the room, of course, is that while Lenin has likely studied up on Classical history and knows about Caesar's background, the general knows nothing about Lenin heading into this. As such, while both have an opportunity to learn from each other in this "strictly mediated" environment, I'm interested in what Caesar would think. He may not be sold on altering the way in which humans interact and organize as Lenin (i.e. abolishing trade and private property, NEP notwithstanding), but his revolutionary activities and role in replacing a backwards, borderline Medieval empire with the first Marxist state on earth is nothing to gloss over. The downside, of course, is that Marxism has proven a failed theory long after, but that doesn't change the fact that he had a century's worth of people and movements who took his example seriously. At least, right up until they only paid lip service or languished by stubbornly refusing to reform, despite the bright future Lenin saw for socialism.

'Augusto Pinochet (2006) SI To Joseph Stalin (1936)'.
Good news: we have a somewhat more reasonable, more economically literate dictator who's more likely to implement the NEP now. Bad news: he's still a bastard (albeit considerably less so than Stalin), and will still purge hardliners and true believers within at least the inner and middle rings of the Politburo (since they'd still stand in the way of Pinochet's plans).

Given he's very right wing that would be a hell of a lot of true believers. Not to mention given his view would he actually want the Nazis to succeed?
