OTL Maurya Empire started declining shortly after Ashoka s death.
What if it did not and Indian Subcontinent remained unified at least until the Common Era?

Even without the Tamilakam the effects would be profound India never truly had a unifying dynasty until the Mughals

Honestly I doubt the Mauryans will want to expand into Iran. It's mostly crappy mountainous terrain.
But who knows?

IMO Greater India is already enough , it had 1/3 of the world's population at one point. It'd be better to make India into a sort of Middle Kingdom with perhaps having tributaries around
But who knows what a Indian Alexander might accomplish with a 20 times bigger army
