I am a BIG Fan of RED DWARF. Even my long suffering dear wife loves it, especially Danny John-Jules character CAT
Summary for those of you poor souls who have not experienced this outstanding SciFy comedy. When Red Dwarf - a half-hour sitcom about an idiosyncratic group of characters marooned on a space ship three million years in the future - was first broadcast on BBC2 in February 1988, the odds were seemingly stacked against it. Its script, by writers Rob Grant and Doug Naylor, had spent three years being rejected by just about anybody with any commissioning power at the BBC; its cast consisted not of established sitcom actors, but instead a poet, an impressionist, a dancer and a stand-up comic; and it was a show that combined two genres - comedy and science-fiction - that almost everybody had advised against marrying.
More than three decades later, Red Dwarf is one of the most well-known sci-fi franchises on the planet - and arguably the most popular science-fiction comedy ever created. Its original BBC run spanned eight series and 52 episodes across eleven years, while a twenty-first century revival for digital broadcaster Dave has so far resulted in a three-part anniversary special followed by three full six-episode series, a feature length special, and even a comprehensive three-part retrospective documentary series. What's more, the story has been adapted and expanded into novels, comic strips, a radio production and a wide range of best-selling merchandise. It has made household names out of its stars Craig Charles, Chris Barrie, Danny John-Jules and Robert Llewellyn, and its influence continues to be felt in both the sci-fi and comedy genres.

I really like the older Dr. Who series. I know the special effects were horrible (I bet the budgets were One Pound 10  ) but the stories were pretty good.
I have absolutely no use for Jodie Whittaker. She is an EEO hire, feel good, PC, WOKE waste of anyone's time.
Don't even get me started on The Missing Doctor Jo Martin, the 15 minutes of screen time was about 14 minutes and 55 seconds longer than she deserved. She was there for the same reason as Jodie Whittaker.
Now for really great Drs. Who
#1. Tom Baker
#2. William Hartnell
#3. Patrick Troughton
The rest did a good workmanlike job and I have no complaints about them.

I think Craig Charles' Lister character holds the entire show together. In most cases we see the others playing off him and he is pro enough to let them run with the gags, at his expense.
The one episode that really cracks me up every time a watch it was the one Kriten tribute to Arnold Rimmer museum. "The Rimmer experience."
"Sigmund Freud, eat your heart out ." 
Chris Barry is a real motor head. His documentaries on UK Technologies are great.

It always surprises me that Americans can understand British humor. I can't say I like all Brit comedy because I have a very hard time understanding the ones with really thick regional accents.
Of those I can understand my favorites are 1. Red Dwarf 2. Blackadder 3. Dad's Army 4. Up the Creek 5. Monty Python 6. Are You Being Served 7. Horrible Histories: The Movie - Rotten Romans 8. The Death Of Stalin 9. ALL the "Carry On" movies
10. Dr. Strangelove 11. Barnacle Bill
