I was thinking of this scenario. BTW, had the Russians secure Pacific Northwest instead being cooped up in Alaska, the Russians might have more incentive to keep it. He also managed to make the "Alaska as Russian Taiwan" scenario look good but at the same, made a twist in that there are still communist holdouts in Russian America by the 1930s.
