A Sound decision
On 1570, Tarik Sulayman of Macabebe would feel betrayed that Banaw Lakandula allied with the Spanish and decided to wait with Rajah Sulayman until a better situation would happen, a pirate from China named Limahong could be used which he could use to war and wipe the Spanish from Manila.
Tarik Sulayman would have claim that he is the rightful Lakandula and overlord of Ysla de Luzon and the sole King or Lord of the Tagalogs and in truce with the Bruneian scions who are ruling the lands that were annexed and seized by the Sultan of Brunei.
Not engaging with the Spanish would be said to be a sound decision as he himself has some control and influence in the North of the Island the Spanish called as the Ysla de Luzon or Nueva Castilla.
On 1574, Tarik Sulayman of Macabebe, Rajah Sulayman and Kasikis of Caboloan would send Limahong to invade Manila and try to liberate it from the Spanish only ending up failing in the end, Limahong would again be given troops and men to liberate the south of Selurong from the Spanish but this would again end up in a failure again on 1575 and Limahong would end up being captured by the Spanish and sent to China.
Rajah Sulayman and Lakandula would also stage a revolt during the attack of Limahong attacked which would also be defeated by the Spanish establishing the Spanish hold on the territories that were under Brunei in Nueva Castilla.

After the Conquest of Portugal
On 1581, after Philip II of Spain would be able to conquer Portugal after the death of King Sebastian and the Bishop King and found that the still independent parts of the Island of Luzon or Nueva Castilla to be a valuable buffer with the Japanese as the ruler of Selurong has ports held by the Wokou and Japanese traders, the Spanish would have held the land of Samtoy in the North which the Spanish would use to trade with the Japanese and as well as the Chinese trade as well.

The Spanish and the Japanese traders would freely trade goods and the Chinese would also go to the Spanish owned Samtoy.
During this time, the Dutch that rebelled from the Spanish would begin to colonize in the East Indies.

After the demise of Rajah Sulayman, Tarik Sulayman would be busy on building his own realm rather than fight the Spanish although it is said that on 1570, he thought of fighting the Spanish but it he decided not to fight them and Rajah Sulayman would later decide to fight the Spanish while Tarik Sulayman and Kasikis of Caboloan would focus on the consolidating and strengthening their realm.
The Spanish would not touch the lands of Tarik Sulayman, the ruler of the Independent Selurong or the King of the Tagalos or King of the Tagarugs[1] and Sultan of Selurong and his underling Kasikis due to their former master being allied to the Portuguese Kings, the Spanish would later decide to keep them as buffers with the Japanese who were starting to doubt the intentions of the Spanish in Japan.
Mohammed Dipatuan Kudarat would praise Tarik Sulayman of his resilience against the Spanish and his sound decisions and would talk about the occupied lands by the Spanish and the lands of the chieftains who made a blood compact with the Spanish in his own poetry, he did not know that his lands are strategic as buffers with the Japanese.[2]

Peace after the Tondo Conspiracy
On 1589, after the Tondo conspiracy was defeated the Spanish would officially recognize the Kingdom of Selurong in the north calling them Reino de los Tagalos from the term Tagarug which is how they called themselves, making the Kingdom formally a buffer zone between the Japanese and the Spanish colony of the Philippines.
The Spanish would fortify the boundaries between the Spanish colony and this independent realm starting in 1589.
There will be a new Kingdom that both the Japanese and Chinese mappers would know but that Kingdom would remain reclusive but the Spanish-Chinese trade in Manila would remain even if Selurong has the claims with all of the Island of Nueva Castilla, the Spanish and Selurong wont have a war after the Tondo conspiracy.
The Japanese would not doubt the Spanish in the entry of the prosetylizers of Christian faith in Japan because Selurong, a country in the boundaries of the Spanish colony remains in existence which would would have effects in the country in the long term.
