Frankly, if one ignores Czechia, this map actually does a relatively good job of "predicting" the extent of the advance of the Russian/Red Army in 1945--three decades after this map was made. I can certainly see it, although East Germany got more of Thuringia. I wonder if Austria still is the Austria-Hungarian Empire or has also be split.

Good thing they didn't do the Morgenthau plan - it would have been Great Leap Forward-level famines.

Another map i found. That 2nd map seems to based on OTL but with harsher terms in the west, including the separation of a S Germany and France ending up annexing a Greater Saarland but more moderate terms in the east, including with land being returned to Germany in 1949. I presume the Paris Treaties 1914 should be Paris Treaties 1919? Steve
