A Triumph?
“On June of 2016, years after the death of President Noynoy Aquino in 2012 after fighting the H1N1-Avian Flu Pandemics in 2010-2014, President Bongbong Marcos would be inaugurated on June 30, 2016, the Avian Flu and H1N1 pandemic would kill many statemen and monarchs during their course.
The main reason why Senator Bongbong Marcos won was due to his reaction on the firing of Renato Corona by Binay and due to his advertised progressive stances, his support against the Bangsamoro Basic Law with and anti politicking stance which did not sit well with the Aquinos and the other immediate relatives of the late president, Noynoy Aquino who was doing his best in reconciling the country due to his term which was cut short by his death.
The Incumbent President, Jejomar Binay would be defeated by Senator Bongbong Marcos in the 2016 elections and Bongbong Marcos is inaugurated as the 18th President, even though his father was considered a dictator who ruled the country for 20 years, however, the Incumbent’s running mate Leni Robredo would win the elections against the running mate of Bongbong Marcos, Senator Grace Poe.

Assuming that Jesse Robredo doesn’t die, this could be possible. IOTL it took his death for Bongbong to be beaten by his widowed wife for the role of VP.

Commentary/Notes regarding this timeline
There are differences between this and that timeline in the 00s, there is no Russian purchase of Livejournal and the 2008 recession is less severe.
The politics in the Philippines is less polarized due to Gloria Arroyo, Jejomar Binay, Miriam Defensor Santiago and the family of the late Noynoy Aquino being allies after the death of Noynoy Aquino because Jejomar Binay would reconcile later with Gloria Arroyo due to her cases not being proven and are opposed to Bongbong Marcos and the people who are for the reconciliation with the Marcoses and those Against Gloria Arroyo like Trillanes and Grace Poe.

Downfall of Binay and Biden Presidencies
Between 2010-2014, the combined H1N1 and Avian Flu pandemics would swipe the world and kill many of the statesmen and leaders like Emperor Akihito of Japan, Prime Minister Naoto Kan, Albert II of Belgium, Philippine President Noynoy Aquino, Barrack Obama and Pope Benedict the 16th.
The Year 2012 and Spring 2013 was considered the worlds saddest period as the two diseases has killed many figures and the people would resent that time as world’s most worst time in history.
