So in the future, alternate-timelines.com will be upgraded to this, ProBoards v6: Phoenix, the new generation of ProBoards forums. As a Beta tester i already created a test forum where i will be able to test out everything in order to make sure this forum when switched is of to a good start. I took a look at it, very exciting. Seems like it will improve functionality. It is only a Beta version to test, there is plenty of time to stick with this one. Also when the forum needs to be upgraded, i am only going to upgrade when i feel we got everything that we have now, but some stuff like Awards might not be in it. |

Looks interesting. Will be some differences and always in favour of better functionality.  Is it OK to register and see a bit more or is that a generic message for admin people looking things over? |

You can register, but be advise, when the Beta testing is over, the forum will be deleted, i mostly use it to get a head start on how this forum might look like in the future and to show members of this forum how the forum will look like in the future. Sad part is that many of the plug-ins will not work anymore with V6, but at this point Proboards has made it clear, that when V6 comes out for all forums, forums have 1,5 years time to switch to the V6 before it is done automatically, this means that we still have some time to enjoy this forum and how it looks now. |

Yep, at the moment it is in early Beta, so i am not able to do much with the changing of the forum look right now, but that will change as more options are added. At this comment i plan to leave the forum in the current V5 mode as long as i can in order to make sure that when we switch, the new forum has as much as the options like awards and stuff we have right now added to it. |

Anything on when V6 will be implemented Not this year, so the current forum we have now will stay at least until 2023 and until I am sure V6 can deliver every function that this forum has now. |

Interesting. The site is currently small enough I can skim through most things daily, so may not use it much but realise other people don't have the time I have - being retired. However when we annex the AH site it will become essential.
