I think there is a good chance we have WWIII and a lot of cities get vapourised. There is some doubt on how many working missiles and bombs the Soviets actually had at the time but they would do a lot of damage where their missiles/bombers get through and the US arsenal was at its peak at this point in terms of total mega-tonnage. I'm not sure I would live but if I do its probably going to be a distinctly harsher upbringing in the world with a hell of a lot of fall-out.  In which case, Mother Nature would have the worst timing on record. Thankfully, she was far more merciful IOTL, though whether she'll continue to shield us from close calls, I don't know. Stomp, both for the US and then Napoleon. Although 2012 Canada might not be too happy with 1812 Britain, let alone the continent or the rest of the world. Might insist on say immediately ending of slavery and social/political reform in the British empire in return for ending the Napoleonic threat. Possibly also helping the rest of the Americans get out from Spanish rule, although since the Portuguese monarchy has moved to Brazil decisions on that could be more complex.
On the other hand of course how willing is Canada to commit resources to being the world's policeman? Especially considering the economic disruption it will be facing.
What happens to Canadians overseas when the ISOT occurs and ditto to foreigner in Canada at this point. Could be some problems here with up-time US military units in Canada at the time of the ISOT.

'2004 US To 1804'. I can just imagine the European empires shitting their pants at this new, now-indisputable superpower America from exactly two centuries into the future. I don't know much about the Napoleonic Wars, but my intuitive guess is that the US crushes France eleven years early and drags the rest of the world into the twenty-first century, kicking and screaming.

Well its going to have interesting interactions with 1845 Mexico outside the current borders, i.e. the parts of Texas along with lands to the west, up to and including California. A lot would depend on what 2045 Mexico is like of course. I think however unless its in a very bad mess there's going to be no adventurism by the US and Mexico might seek to 'regain' the 1845 Texas. It could even use a 'crusade' against the barbarism of slavery to expand further as well as seeking to secure Central America at least down to Panama under its control. Probably with aims at a canal through the latter. Given its also, barring some disaster before 2045 its going to be a demographic as well as technological colossus this is all easily within its reach.
Of course if its really adventurous then unless and until it gets massive overreach the world is its oyster.

As a twist on a few scenarios I've seen, where all former presidents are whisked from their time periods to run for reelection in one, giant, contemporary election season: 'All Major Losing Party Nominees Run For POTUS'. Some of them, of course, would have far more executive experience than their competitors, given that some of the ISOTed losers are themselves former presidents (namely Herbert Hoover, Jimmy Carter, and George H.W. Bush).
There's also been various third-party nominees over that time, and their presence would complicate things even more. As such, I'm thinking they wouldn't participate in this ISOT, save for "sufficiently major" exceptions (i.e. third-party 1860 candidates and Teddy Roosevelt from 1912).
