It's been a wild ride, alright. The downside is that, in the grand scheme of things, I think we're only getting warmed up.
Although, it does make me wonder about previous years that have been equally (if not more) tumultuous? 1914 and 1939 seem like more convenient examples of what I'm talking about, considering how tension that had been building up for a while at that point had finally come crashing down.
