1988. Riding the coattails of Reagan, the next Republican to run looks very likely to get the job. George H.W. Bush is a considered choice, but as is businessmen and developer Donald J. Trump. Meanwhile, a younger, newer Senator from Delaware, Joe Biden, becomes a party frontrunner before gaffes bring him down.
This is an AHC with the following parts: 1) How can you get Trump to run in 1988. 2) How can you get Biden's campaign to stay afloat in 1988 3) Who would win? 4) What would there term look like? 5) What would the 1992 election look like? 6) If (Trump/Biden) were elected in 1988, how would the US political situation look like today?
