I think V for Vendetta could make a fantastic timeline. Has anyone here ever tried to do one ?
It would be interesting to see how the UK gradually became an authoritarian state in the aftermath of the St Mary's Virus pandemic and how the rest of the world reacted.
We know the United States has become a failed state wired into a decade long civil war and is asking for food aid from the UK. We don't learn anything about the rest of the world sadly.
I can imagine serious opposition to the Norsefire regime. No doubt the Troubles would reignite in Northern Ireland and I'd imagine Scotland would declare independence . Norsefire would sent troops north and would become bogged down in a multiyear insurgency across Scotland fighting against civilian insurgents and defecting Scottish units of the British Army.
Is there any other material of this universe other than the film and graphic novel ?

Here's the thing, Nosefire would only be able to do what it could if they were able to turn the British Isles into a Republic, it is very likely that there was a short civil war where the pro-Royal elements of the nation were either forced to run to Canada or put to the torch...
... and V has only made things worse for Britain for any successor to Nosefire will learn of Nosefire's successes and failures and make a Nosefire 2.0. Also, if the US is asking for food aid, the entire planet would be on starvation rations. That's how capable the US's food supply is. The US literally feeds the world.

I can see England being kicked out of NATO, a violent separatist movement in Scotland, Northern Ireland. And regular incidents with French and Irish ships collecting boats people leaving from the English coasts to Europe.

For the movie:
- Great Britain is technically still a Monarchy but the royal family has been exterminated during the takeover and on the throne seat a very young king/queen that's basically a puppet - The Usa are in a civil war yes, but not so big as the British media imply, the aid is asked by the neoconfederate/Trumpist that are supported by Norsefire as they are steadily losing terrain. - Yes the USA are a big food producer but the war had forced many other developed nations (especially the EU) to change their agricolture politics and become at least self sufficient. - Norsefire takeover had made the nation an international pariah, relations between her and the EU are like between North and South Korea
