WI Washington had decided not to become President after the American Revolution? What might the country have been like under someone like John Adams instead?

The biggest thing would be FDR-length presidencies would happen more bcs Franklin would die before a precedent could be set. |

Is the blue meant to be a link as it doesn't seem to go anywhere?
Probably not 13 states as some would be really too small to stand alone against others but it could easily see a fragmenting of the OTL original 13 states in a number of smaller blocs.

Is the blue meant to be a link as it doesn't seem to go anywhere? No just a way for me to quickly identify what I wrote.
Probably not 13 states as some would be really too small to stand alone against others but it could easily see a fragmenting of the OTL original 13 states in a number of smaller blocs. Good point especially Rhode island and Delaware.
