The Battle of Jutland - Clash of the Titans - Part 1 (Beatty vs Hipper) - naval history - 37 Gods I didn't realise how many mistakes were made during this period. Largely by the British although a couple by the Germans as well. Knew about the error with Sheer's flag sign and complication in Room 40 and some of Beatty/Seymour's [non-] signing but a number of other significant ones as well. Amazing Jellicoe did as well as he did and hadn't realised quite how effective the 5th Battle Squadron was despite the shell problems.
So you watched the entire episode, it was good, also like this one about Jutland. |

Slight inaccuracy at the end. Fisher stopped 'terrorising' the design committee about the design for what became HMS Dreadnought only to start terrorising them about what became HMS Invincible! Good run through some of Fisher's initial ideas.

I'm having a problem accessing discord. Tried for the middle earth game I'm playing but clicking on the link there invites you to set up an account. IIRC I did so ~3 years back but can't find any details on my system about it. Hence when it asks me to enter an email address it comes up with a message that that email is already in use BUT doesn't allow any option to actually access that. Normally with other such systems there would be some facility asking if your forgotten your account details and offering to send an update to that email address but nothing like that seems to be displaying.
What I could always do is make such a comment in the general replies to his videos on his site.

Already seen it but interesting. A bit confusing as their continually referring to the sea map being dark green while it looked naval blue to me and a lot of other people but think that's a lighting issue. Not a lot of great significant news but some additional details on aspects of the site and that their open to the public again from this Saturday 1st August.
