So it seems i can easily add a Discord widget at the bottom of the forum, so here is the question, are people interested in a Official Alternate Timelines Discord ore is the forum enough, let me know here ore any other questions you might have.

Never used Discord so have no real opinion on the matter. If you think it would be useful and/or raise the site's profile and it won't take up too much of your time then by all means.

Well it just a idea, did some testing on the test forum and i can place a link to it, but otherhand, the forum is also good enough for now i think, there is not much difference in what you can do on a discord compared to here on the forum.

To be honest, I think there's quite a lot of difference (as explained on here): - Discord is no good for archiving anything. One of the things I really like about forums is that, if you want to refer back to an older discussion from several months ago, then you can - and if you want to continue that discussion, then you can. But Discord doesn't have any of this: the messages are fleeting and easily-missed, and they just get buried after a day or two.
- Discord is no good for discoverability. One of the main benefits of putting stuff on a forum is that it shows up in search results. This doesn't happen with Discord: it's just a walled garden which is inaccessible to Google.
- Discord is real-time, which forums aren't. That's good for chatter, but probably not good for any of the more long-form stuff.
This isn't to say that a Discord is bad: it's good at what it's supposed to do. However, if you're going to create a Discord, then it's probably better to use it mainly for banter and chatter - but anything with long-term value (such as the timelines) should be kept on the forum. Ultimately, though, it's a decision that only you can make. Decide what your goals are for the community - and then decide whether or not Discord meets those goals.

Well that is why i created this thread, to get options form every member here.
