Whoever works on military fiction and wants to create a visualization of the action should have a look at this link below: Maps.Army The Maps. Army is a open source web-based app that allows for quick and intuitive cobbling together of APP-6 maps.

I've just tried to use it and not had much luck but I'll try again soon.

The ability to make arrows to show advances look great and I am keen to use the NATO symbols as I understand them. However, the How-To shows nothing about the ability to zoom. That is what I cannot work out how to do. I put a symbol in and it covered the entirety of Germany! I tried everything, even where the zoom function is after I found that, and zooming is impossible for me to do. It might be a case of it not working with my PC as the explanations show that it has been done... or, maybe, possibility, there is a chance, you never know... I might be stupid.

Strange, i use the mouse wheel and i can place the symbols where i want them without any problem. But it has a lot of options i still need to figure out, so mabey you will figure how to do this also.

That's really useful for my 12 Minutes to Midnight TL, when I have Army Corps fighting over Eastern Cambodia and I've been looking for diagrams to help my readers for some time now.
Thanks!
