Well if you did not win the Grand Order of the Map maker with your previous map then this one would surly be the one that would get you that Grand Order, nice map. |

So this is a map in the progress for "To Rebuild a Shattered World" if I decided to build a map instead of trying to complete a timeline on it. I'm having trouble on whether or not this would be feasible as a scenario. Keep in mind that this is just a rough draft. Attachments:

That is an huge empire. I presume the PoD would be a success for the Darien colony project? Plus a hell of a lot of other things going right for them. 
Should that area being described as Scottish West Indies be somewhere in the east Indies as I don't recognise the islands and there is another part called the Scottish Caribbean? Although it doesn't look much like what I know of the Indo-China area either?

Now that would be an interesting world although I suspect it would be larger, because of a potential vacuum to the west or smaller, because of encroachments from the east and north. Is the POD that Napoleon is satisfied with his 1801 borders and encourages settlement while staying at peace in Europe or something earlier?

I must admit that does sound odd as I couldn't see a) It becoming a hub of republicanism - especially since IIRC Napoleon didn't get it back from the Spanish before he became emperor.
b) That Napoleon wouldn't be concerned about it, although possibly in a scenario where he didn't sell it to the US and war with Britain broken out again when he would have problems getting to it. Although in that case possibly you might have some groups there, realising their vulnerable to attack declaring independence from the French empire to distance themselves.
c) That the US wouldn't seek to take over the region, by some means or another especially given the demographic imbalance between the two.
The latter is why I was thinking a Louisiana that stays with France and Napoleon who accepts the Treaty of Amiens terms and hence doesn't go to war with Britain or other powers and instead commits resources to developing and populating Louisiana would be so important. It gives the protection of the French empire to deter US encroachments and gives an opportunity to settler the region enough to secure it in the longer rune when something breaks the links with France.
