I found this episode a filler episode mostly, this is means that we still have 5 episode left depending if that is the amount of eps they are planning to do. You could say that it was filler since all plot progression happened off-screen or could have easily been delivered in the next episode (wait, by that defenition half of Yuki Yuna's episodes were filler) but I think of it as more of a breather episode because we can't have action in every episode and it did deliver characterisation for some minor characters. It is also a contrast between what we thought the show was going to be like (a Slice-of-life show) between what we got (a plot-driven show). I think the Admiral Graf Spee will come to the rescue of the Harekaze when it has it showdown with the Musashi.

But I think it Will not be a showdown With just the Musashi, I think she is going to have an Escort as well or it would just be to easy for the Harekaze to board her and neatralize the crew. Remember the Yamato-class accurracy was historical so poor that the Harekaze could avoid being hit by going in a straight line.

Rin has been getting over her nervousness through character Development (and her crush on Akano) so she is not that scared anymore. Also, just noticed that Musashi is heading towards the place she was sunk in real life. Foreshadowing or are they going to pull a KanColle on us?

Though if there were People who wanted to discredit the Blue Mermaids, forcing the Harekaze to sink the Musashi and killing the acadamy's finest students would be a good way to do so. Would also lead to some character Development for the entire cast, especially Akano, and act as a setup for a sequel. Remember that this is the show that spent its entire advertisment campaign convinging People that it would be just a Slice-of-life series and that Moeka would be an important character, unlike what we got.

I think that everything well end well, it a anime about girls on war ships, if they killed people for real it would not be a funny to watch.

Well, the series has not been above throwing unexpected plot twists at us before, but we''ll see in two weeks time. Also, found this poll on Chruncyroll over what summer 2016 animes Japanese fans are most excited about. Aggregate 20. Orange - 129 votes 19. Cute High Earth Defense Club Love! Love! - 131 votes 18. Sweetness and Lightning - 140 votes 17. Active Raid season 2 - 147 votes 16. Mob Psycho 100 - 152 votes 15. Qualidea Code - 159 votes 14. Tsukiuta THE ANIMATION - 166 votes 13. You also forgot that one of the Things that draws People into gay idol hell Love Live is the vast amout of yuri subtext that Sunshine has to surpass. Especially With suplemental material establishing Mari as someone who really wants to get laid.
