Soldiers of Krieg, the kaiser commands you, Death Korps of Krieg ISOT to 1918 Germany

They where called the Death Korps of Krieg, a name given to all of the Astra Militarum regiments that originate from the devastated, post-nuclear Death World of Krieg in the Segmentum Tempestus. Krieg was the site of a rebellion against the Imperium of Man over 1,500 standard years ago in the 40th Millennium and was bombarded with nuclear weapons followed by five hundred Terran years of grinding warfare to purge the heretical rebels. After all those years of nuclear destruction and bitter trench warfare, Krieg was reduced to a scorched, radioactive husk of a world composed of dust and mud whose surviving people were forced to retreat into underground hive cities to survive the toxic planetary environment. The Death Korps of Krieg is a siege specialist regiment of the Imperial Guard and the regiments raised on Krieg seek to repent for their former treachery against the Emperor by displaying a disturbing disregard for their own lives in combat.

The 3rd Krieg Tactical Air Force has a total of 192 aircraft which are:

100 Valkyries, has a range of 2,000km in atmosphere, a hull mounted Multi-laser, 2x door-mounted Heavy bolters and 2x Hellstrike Missiles, Rocket Pods. The Valkyries can also carry a Krieg Infantry Squad consisting of 10 soldiers.

13 Vulture Gunship, has a range of 2,000 km in atmosphere, a nose mounted Heavy bolter and 4x under wing hardpoints for various weapon systems.

8 Recon Thunderbolts, has a range of 12,000 km in atmosphere, main armament of 2x nose-mounted Lascannons and 4x nose-mounted Autocannons and can carry 4x Hellstrike Missiles or 4x bombs.

48 Thunderbolts, has a range of 12,000 km in atmosphere, main armament of 2x nose-mounted Lascannons and 4x nose-mounted Autocannons and can carry 4x Hellstrike Missiles or 4x bombs.

To be honest, simply by having tanks availeble the Death Korps is pretty much guaranteed to turn the tide against the Allies. The main problem however would be that the German homefront was deteroiating and about to collapse.

I think the best course of action would be for Germany to use the Death Korps to quickly kick France and Britain out of the war and then hope that they have impressed the US enough that they Will agree to a white peace. Germany simply can't continue to wage war much longer by 1918.

Well with that force, as long as its loyal to the regime, they can take just about anything they want. There is plenty to loot from the defeated allies, including food from the US and the dominions for instance.

It is possible but at this point I think the generals would balk at the thought of making more countries hate their guts. And didn't Kaiser Wilhelm II persuade his generals from invading the Netherlands in 1914?

Yes, but this is 1918. Germany is starving and almost broke and their ally Austria-Hungary only exsists on paper. They can not continue to wage war or it would spark a revolution at home. Their best hope is to end the war as quickly as possible and hopefully convince the US to Accept their peace terms.

What about negotiating for peace with the United Kingdom.

If the Germans crush the Americans in France, the people back in the United States will not take it kindly that those in power in Washington drag them into a war that might have killed hundreds of thousands of young American soldiers.
