What about here being related to the emperor, ore is that far fetch. I think that's pretty damned unlikely myself. The prospect of Rey being a Palpatine--though a theory I've heard maybe more than once or twice already--still strikes me as out of the blue, and not in a good way. And though I'm aware that heredity doesn't necessarily translate to similar-in-every-way parents and children, I'd imagine that she'd possess exceptional and rapidly manifested Force potential right from the get-go, if this were in fact the case.
Did Palpatine have any off spring. |

Did Palpatine have any off spring. From what I've gleaned from glancing through Wookieepedia, the answer seems to be no (or at least, none introduced to the lore so far). I thought I once read something about his Legends counterpart having a (probably illegitimate) son, but I can't confirm at the moment.
And since this is Canon Palps that we're currently discussing, it's unsafe to assume that applies here either.

Though not as important to most as anticipating 'Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker', a certain CGI TV series is being brought back for one last season later this year as well. As such, a full-blown trailer was recently released for the continuation of 'The Clone Wars' show that I enjoyed back in the day.

Honestly, though, I wish TCW would continue beyond just 12 more episodes.
Perhaps if/when Star Wars finally enters the public domain, someone will try their hand at redoing the series--maybe making it so that the Clone Wars lasts longer than it does IOTL.

Hmm, I wonder what sorts of storylines they have in mind for sequel-cast. Perhaps something similar to the post-Original Trilogy EU--albeit with screen-based content as well--will emerge in the coming years. |

Well, it's Star Wars Day today . May the Fourth be with you! Happy Star Wars Day indeed! It's hard for me to fathom that it's now been 42 years since A New Hope premiered in 1977.
In fact, it makes me wonder how the 50th and even 100th anniversaries of the franchise's release on the big screen will be received by those times. But I digress on that for now.
