Jeff Hunter receives a phone call. star trek the menagerie has been approves. soon desilu will begin making episodes of star trek as a series in Ernest. unfortunaly for hunter his drinking is out of control. he is getting a divorce from Dusty Bartlet.

Star Trek 2nd season
William shatner guest stared as commander Decker in the episode balance of terror. This would be the last episode for the 2nd season. shatner would return int he third and final fourth season.
You could get a little comfortable here.
Shatner told hunter. well. hunter grinned as he replied yes this can grow on you.
The world would not forget the name Star Trek.
City on the EDGE of forever
City on the edge of forever is a 2 part episode at the end of the show. Edith goes to the 23rd century with pike. spock. bone.
Star trek earned good enough rating s in its first season to continue for a 2nd. Harry Mud would make two appearances the Klingons would also be introduced.

Jeff hunter refused to do star trek phase 2 since he had many part s in films. so when that series was made decker played by Stephen Maght would appear as captain Decker. and by the time of of phase 2 for phase II David Gautreaux would appear as Xon replacing Spock.
The series would last from 1977-1985.
Jeff Hunter stare din t.v. episodes of alias smith and jones. guns smoke land of the lost.planet of apes
in films he shad roles in the centurion. war games. He dies in 1989 at the age of 62.
iN 2005 jerry oconnel plays captain Pike in the star trek prequel.
