On today's WWI post you have
Should there be something following on from this as to what he actually said? It sounds more like an intro than a comment in itself. Steve
Again. let me see what the Trolls missed this time. Seems the source has the same, so again the trolls are not to blame, but i will speak to them on not checking the sources twice before putting out a daily update.
OK thanks.

Is there are part of a sentence missing on page 81? "10 miles off the East coast of Sweden, Soviet submarine S-7 sinks Swedish coastal freighter SS Luleå carrying iron ore to Germany. During the afternoon,"
On page 83, Flensburg is being mentioned in southern Denmark. It's in Schleswig indeed, but still on the German side of the border of 1920. (The smaller Schleswigian cities of Abenra and Sonderborg also mentioned are on the Danish side, however.)

Could you give me the dates, the trolls find it easier to check. First one: July 11th 1942 Second one: August 18th 1942 regarding the first, nothing related to Soviet submarine S-7 sinking Swedish coastal freighter SS Luleå carrying iron ore to Germany, this seems to be two words left over from the Air War over Europe part. Regarding the second, thanks will edit it.

lordroel , On today's WWII post you basically repeat the report on the attack on the tanker Chapultepec in those two sections of the post.
Otherwise all looks fine. Thanks.

Just wanted to say that I've read your WW2 thread up to the battle of El Alamein. Nice battle maps, BTW.

Page 91: For December 19th 1942, you say the record was 250 tons, but December 14th 1942 claims "The Luftwaffe airlift to Stalingrad brings in 180 tons. This is the largest effort to date and will not be exceeded." Contradicting sources, I guess?

Events leading up to the United States Civil War, January 4th 1861
District of Columbia
Outgoing President James Buchanan, in light of the impending war between North and South, calls for a Day of Special Humiliation, Fasting and Prayer.
I think there might have been typo here and humiliation should have been humility.

There's a small typo in today's WWI thread on the sinking of shipping.
Assuming that's a typo for seven?
