One small query on today's WWI entry. You have
This is slightly odd wording as normally it would be "are aware" so I'm wondering if it should be "are completely unaware", i.e. not knowing of it being planned/happening. Another option is simply that because English is your 2nd language your said/translated it that way but "completely aware" slightly jars as its not the way it would normally be said. Presumably we will know if there are [unfortunately] unsuccessful attempts to intercept Hipper as I know she doesn't get sunk and manages to get back to Norway. Steve
Thanks will change it.
Only if your sure its inaccurate. It could be accurate, i.e. that Britain knows about the intent to sail and just the way you worded it sounds a bit off to me.

According to Wiki: On 15 March, the ship slipped out of Brest, unobserved, and passed through the Denmark Strait eight days later, thus the British did not know that she left, otherwise i would assume the RAF and the RN would be waiting to intercept the Hipper.

Well if they found out she was gone they would be hunting here but they might not realise where she's going and be thinking she's out hunting somewhere in the Atlantic.

lordroel ,
One small typo in the WWI post for today. You have
The 1st Robeck should be Carden as he was the one who resigned due to illness. See Admiral Robeck for confirmation.
Otherwise looking good.
Thanks
Steve

Well another bloody day in both WWI and WWII. Would be an interesting AH if Robeck did continue the attack and after running out of ammo the Turks are forced to withdraw. Getting the fleet into the Sea of Marmara may not force the Turks out of the war but could have a big impact on neutrals, especially Greece and Bulgaria.
One small typo noted in the WWII thread entry.
Think there is a fire missing here after defensive?

lordroel , Think there's a small typo in the current WWII post. On the E African section you have:
I suspect its shipment from Port Sudan to possibly Suez?

In today's WWII thread I think there a small typo in the para.
Should that in be an of? That would seem to make more sense as it is the Germans attacking. Also good point on Ultra backfiring in this case as Rommel is attacking in defiance of orders so gains additional surprise.
Also in the air war section I'm confused by the reference to the "A four-engine Wellington bomber" as to the best of my knowledge they were only twin engined designs produced. Unless there's some variant out there I don't know of and Wiki either after a quick check either its a Wellington with 2 engines or something else - the Sterling bomber was entering service in early 8141 so possibly that? Checking the Halifax that's also an option as that entered service in late 1940 - thought it was after the Sterling.

A couple of comments on the WWII thread today.
Interesting, I don't think I had heard of the tea drop over the Netherlands before. Sounds like a good idea in terms of boosting moral of the population, especially after the killings following the earlier attempt at a general strike.
I think there's one oddity in the para
Guessing that Bone is the name of the commanding officer of the Tigris?
Thanks
Steve

Would it be possible to just add a little to the post to make that clear please? - PS noting that Commander Bone had another success today.
On today's WWII post - 3rd April - I noticed a small typo.
I think that 1st not shouldn't be there.
Thanks
Steve
