gillan1220 , looking at the map is see the Dutch navy involved, what ships do they have present. This Dutch Navy are personnel (officers and observers) that were sent to RIMPAC 2016 in OTL. No ships were sent. Based on my research for mid-2016, most Royal Netherlands Navy ships were either in Europe or the Caribbean so I wouldn't see Amsterdam deploying these ships for a long journey. So these Dutch officers and observers (aboard other Allied ships) would be assisting in the evacuation or keeping order in the Busan Safe zone.

The nearest units would be the ones currently deployed to the West Pacific. Hence why I chose the RIMPAC fleet as the exercises were ongoing at the time of the outbreak. Perhaps the Dutch or even the British send their ships if gets even worse. Similar to how Luxembourg sent 44 troops to the Korean War.

Also would you agree that among efforts to slow the spread the United States, China, Russia and so fort start bombing bridges, roads, tunnels at etc to stop the spread.

But the overall name for this war then, the 2nd Korean War is only part of this general conflict i think.

The 2nd Korean War only reignited because Kim saw it as an opportunity to liberate the South. Well technically this will be part of the Korean conflict (1953-present)
