I am assuming Park still gets impeached & removed from office due to the scandal ? If she is alive, a scandal like what she is convicted of will be the less of anybody concern. Keeping my fingers crossed Park & Co., are in the safe zone in Busan. If she is alive, she can finish her term by February 25th, 2018 (which she originally was supposed to finish the term before the impeachment & removal from office).

I am assuming Park still gets impeached & removed from office due to the scandal ? It would be butterflied away completely. As for the election, I am not sure who will be her successor. Moon Jae-In was most likely killed in Seoul and Korea is still recovering from the outbreak.

The 2017 Presidential election in December of 2017 occurs.

Park's scandal will never come to light or it may come to light in the future.

I am not so sure with South Korean politics but maybe the civilian leadership would be extended to show the citizens and the international community that despite hard times, civilian leadership and democracy does not fall apart. I'd probably reserve the military control if something bad happens.

Well reading the description of the sequel called Peninsula (film) Four years after the events of Train to Busan, All of Korea has been abandoned, and all that's left is its geography, zombies, and the ruins of South Korea. A group of marines on a retrieval mission gets trapped inside, and start to witness something that will test the fate of the world.Seems North Korea also got hit, but maybe the Chinese mange to stop it at thier border and only the Korean Peninsula has been overrun by zombies.

I hope the movie will have some form of backstory showing how the entire Peninsula fell. Probably the Chinese destroyed the Sino-Korean Friendship Bridge in Dandong and irradiated the Yalu River.

Do not think that has much effect for zombies, i think, do not know how radiation will affect a body that is already dead.

That or they heavily fortified the banks of the Yalu with total military presence 24/7. Nukes were probably used as well.

In North Korea, i think the Chinese might hit the cities, in order to destroy large concatenations of zombies.

The Russians would have probably mined their side of the border or put up a big defensive line.
