I just finished Season 2 of Into The Night. What an absolute stunner! I highly recommend this show to you all.

I’ve now seen the whole first season of Valley of Tears. It gets bogged down in melodramatic family storylines and individual conversations about love and family away from the battle, not to mention having a large number of main characters stuck on a hill for the better part of three episodes. What promised a lot in terms of an interesting look at a hard front degenerated into the same old hackneyed cliches.
Tank battle scenes in the first episode and last were excellent, but it got lost in the middle. There was a chance to show the battle on the Golan through the eyes of tankers, infantry/paras, staff and the IAF, but the latter didn’t appear, staff were simply a means to illustrate a family storyline and the tanks were absent for most of the season.
If a character/family storyline is going to come to the fore, then it needs to be appealing. These shifted between the unengaging and plain silly, with the political story thread about Israeli Black Panthers fizzling.
It started so well and had visceral moments, but didn’t deliver.
4/10

In my ongoing search of 1960s and early 1970s spy series whilst searching for a particular one I saw one day a few years ago, I came across Quiller, a 1975 British series with Michael Jayston. Not really a patch on the original novels, but it has for me a certain 1970s charm and style that I find quite appealing. The hero is a bit more cerebral than Bond or Harry Palmer and the plotlines are actually quite varied and interesting; the big problem with the series seems to have been the cheap budget. One of the interesting features is the inclusion of several fictional countries as part of the plot of each episode.
I would recommend a look for those who have an interest in the genre and era.

I've just finished Season 3 of Stranger Things, so I'm up to date with it now.
What a finale! Very much looking forward to see how they build on that in season 4, when that drops later this year.

I just finished watching Tokyo Vice. A downing cliffhanger indeed. Now I am excited for Season 2.

Right now, I'm watching a show called Pandemonium, which is set in 2020 during the lockdown.
The problem is, I saw a grandfather clock lurking in the background. I immediately became concerned for the characters' lives, and began to think COVID was the least of their worries.
Clearly, I have been watching too much Stranger Things.

Currently watching Tokyo MER: Mobile Emergency Room. A light-hearted political comedy that focuses on EMS. I'm currently at episode 5.

Saw my first episode of the chosen. I only watch tv shows that involve history, to be honest, and I'm personally anti tv. I mostly just watch the history vault, but I enjoyed the downtown abbey. I used to watch Gotham, but I finished the series years ago. Horrible history can be funny, but it would have been funnier if British people didn't make it
