The Iron Giant Crashes Onto Modern Earth

Brad Bird's 1999 movie, The Iron Giant, told the story of a colossal alien robot that crashed onto Earth in 1957. Making friends with a boy named Hogarth and hunted by government official Kent Mansley, the Giant constantly battled to avoid discovery and to learn more about the world around him.

But what if the giant crashed into the same town of Rockwell, Maine as in the film--but set in the real, 21st Century world?
