To add another tribute video, here's one featuring titular political schemer turned galactic tyrant Sheev Palpatine called "Democracy" by Dudufilm. Chancellor Palpatine - "Demoncracy"Sometimes i wonder if George Lucas used Hitler in some way ore form as a model for Palpatine with slowly destroying something of a democracy to have it replace by something evil. To my semi-hazy recollection, G. Lucas did just that. In addition to Der Fuhrer acting as inspiration for Old Sheev, the likes of Julius Caesar, Napoleon Bonaparte and even Richard Nixon were also thrown into the mix. In fact, the Galactic Empire as an overall faction is based off of Nazi Germany with certain elements of other regimes--both real and fictional--also incorporated into it. |

I wonder how the pre-Imperial galaxy (i.e. Clone Wars-era) would react to suddenly being shown this video by Eric Rops. Perhaps it'd shed light on a certain Naboo-born Senator turned Supreme Chancellor named Sheev.

To move into some old Star Wars-themed gaming that I used to enjoy, here's a walkthrough video of Republic Defender, a tower defense mini-game that was one of many offered in the now-shut down Clone Wars Adventures. Clone Wars Adventures Walkthrough Part 20: Republic Defender...Yeah, I miss the game a lot. |

What If Qui Gon Jinn Trained Anakin Skywalker? I've seen fanfiction about this very premise. People seem to speculate that all in all, the Star Wars universe would take a turn for the better if Qui-Gon were to train young Anakin instead. |
