And another interesting fic, this time more serious than the last one I suggested. Seriously, though, given how the Empire was set up in the first place, it shouldn't be too surprising that violent collapse would ensue, should something happen to everyone's favorite Emperor.

Seriously, though, given how the Empire was set up in the first place, it shouldn't be too surprising that violent collapse would ensue, should something happen to everyone's favorite Emperor. Here's another one, this time a time-travel story with an unexpected defection creating a massive divergence from canon timeline.
