I'm pretty sure only the protagonist understands him, though? Plus, this is a case of Ash's Pokemon suddenly becoming fluent in human language(s). Speaking further about that, 'WI Detective Pikachu Swapped Places With Ash Ketchum's Pikachu?'. Oh, and the former can talk to everyone he meets while I'm at it, not just his perpetually young new trainer. Have not seen the movie yet, only the trailer, do we know if the Detective Pikachu version is as good in fighting other Pokemon as Ketchum's Pikachu.

Since it apparently debuts in theaters today here in the US (and I'm not going until later on), I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that question. But even if he's not--which would displease Ash at first--the fact that he can talk would be exceptionally impressive.

Nice suggestion. I assume the supposed curbstomp match-up of the Yuuzhan Vong taking on a grimdark galaxy is what makes it so frivolous?
Heck, there's even a faction (the Tyranids, to be specific) that handily beats the Vong at their own biotech game--and then some.

Also there are several YouTube clips about what if the Empire fought the Vong, like this one:

Also there are several YouTube clips about what if the Empire fought the Vong, like this one: Nice video, and one that addresses a hypothetical that I--and various others across these areas of the interwebs--have been pondering every now and then. The conflict would be analogous to the Eastern Front of WW2, albeit enlarged to a galactic scale and with the Yuuzhan Vong and Galactic Empire standing in for Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union respectively. By that logic, Onimi would be Hitler and Palpatine would be Stalin, and surely they're both ruthless enough to make that an apt comparison.
Another frivolous, yet again Pokemon-themed idea I've been thinking of was about a female Snivy who develops the ability to talk and starts singing, 'cuz reasons. Maybe a performer might show up in that possible Fandom TL featuring an advanced Pokemon civilization that I mentioned once or twice before?

'What Memes Would Pokemon Post On The Internet?' I imagine quite a few that poke fun at trainers and humans in general, for example.

'The Avengers Fight A Kaiju'. You know, those colossal, extra-dimensional seafaring monsters from Pacific Rim.

I would say, since the monsters are kill-able, that Hulk or Thor should be able to handle one of them, although the collateral damage could be substantial! Possibly Dr Strange or Iron Man. The less powerful characters such as Captain America or Black Widow would struggle, even as part of a team I suspect without the support of one of the power-house characters.

I personally don't think that them at least taking a low to mid-tier Kaiju out is that much of a stretch, considering the feats they've pulled off IOTL Marvel movie-verse.

Well just asking because in the comics they dealt with giants like Galactus.

Well just asking because in the comics they dealt with giants like Galactus. Well, then those Avengers sound especially primed to vanquish any Kaiju who gets ISOTed into their universe. There'd be plenty of collateral damage and more than a few deaths that come with the monster's rampage, though. For another frivolous fandom idea, 'Ben 10 As Way Big ISOT to Pacific Rim'.

His cosmic rays can also potentially destroy small planets, at least according to the Ben 10 wiki. That's also without mentioning that he has experience fighting other giant monsters from his universe, i.e. the Way Bad army in the Omniverse series.
